Amazing Albany is arts-fixated – so much so that you can gallery-hop your way around town for days.

Think star-quality musos, artisanal stores to die for, and international acts at the architecturally award-winning Albany Entertainment Centre. Chat to local artists between sets at one of the city’s historic venues over a bespoke ale, and get insight into Albany’s creatives.

Perth International Arts Festival (PIAF) brings Great Southern Festival to our shores every February. With events of global acclaim held in theatres and at wineries around Amazing Albany, the Festival delights and entertains without fail.

The Southern Art + Craft Trail boasts more than 60 exhibitions and studios in September and October each year, drawing crowds of more than 10,000. Plan your visit around the Trail and soak up the authentic experience of the region with workshops, exhibitions, demonstrations, awards and opportunities to purchase investment pieces.

If it’s beauty rich and rare you’re looking for, Albany’s emerging Indigenous art scene offers an insight into an ancient culture. Formerly of Katanning and now relocated to Albany, Mungart Boodja is an Indigenous owned and operated art centre central to the success of many accomplished visual artists in the Great Southern region.
