Getting Started With Storytelling - A Workshop with Lynne Hunt

Past Event

This interactive workshop deploys storytelling to explore the power of stories. You can, quite simply sit back and enjoy the stories, or you can participate with a purpose, such as introducing storytelling into your working life, writing diaries, memoirs or just scribbling.

Lynne Hunt is co-author of three books about university teaching, and she co-edited ‘Claremont Cameos’ – the stories of women who graduated from Claremont Teacher’s College, Perth, Western Australia. She also wrote a chapter about women in the book, ‘Yilgarn, A good country for hardy people’.

Storytelling lies at the heart of her most recent book, ‘Making meaning: Making sense’ (2022). She now draws on stories from all her books in invited public lectures and community-based workshops.
