Policies

Cancellation

Walk into Luxury Pty Ltd (ABN 11 167 521 164) (Company) provides its walks on the full terms and conditions specified on Walk into Luxury's website a copy of which will be sent to you when you make a booking request before your payment is taken. A shortened version of the booking terms and conditions are summarised below for convenience only: 1. All pricing includes GST and is payable in full 4 weeks prior to the walk commencement date. If a walk is booked more than 4 weeks prior a 50% deposit is required. 2. If a walk is cancelled more than 60 days prior to the walk commencement date a $500 cancellation fee is charged to the customer. If a walk is cancelled within 60 days the company may retain the full booking amount. This is necessary because Walk into Luxury is a small operator and is itself subject to the cancellation policies of the third party providers it works with. 3. All accommodation is twin share. A single room supplement is payable to secure a single room. If you plan to undertake a private walk by yourself for safety reasons we require you to select the guided walk option (surcharge applies). The small group walk which is guided is a great option for solo travellers. 4. The Company may cancel or vary a walk at its absolute discretion where it is deemed unsafe for a walk to continue (for example in the event of a prolonged serious bush fire) or where it becomes unpracticable to deliver a tour as booked for example due to changes in third party venue/provider availability or conditions. If a walk is cancelled in these circumstances the Company will provide a refund for the uncompleted portion of the walk (calculated on a daily pro-rata basis) minus any cancellation costs payable by the Company to third party accommodation and service providers. We will not be able to cover any other related costs. We strongly recommend you purchase appropriate travel insurance to cover any out of pockets you may incur. 5. Any recreational walking or physical activity contains some inherent risks. Walking in Western Australia's bush and coastal regions can involve significant risk of physical harm personal injury or death to participants. You should make a careful assessment of your particular circumstances before booking a walk and ensure you are in good health and well prepared before commencing. While Walk into Luxury will take all reasonable steps to ensure you are able to complete your walk safely and in comfort you undertake the walk solely at your own risk.
